While everyone is eagerly awaiting the big challenge on October 4th, the Velo Club Oggiono is working at full speed toward the 97th edition of Il Lombardia Under 23. Each "Lombardia" is unique, and the organizing committee aims to be fully prepared in every aspect, attending to every detail, from the largest to the smallest, from the simplest to the most complex. With two months to go until the event, the lineup of participants is almost complete. The best of the best is represented by 22 foreign teams and 7 Italian ones.
This classic race is extremely important, one of the monument races on the international U23 calendar, and simply having the opportunity to race it is already an achievement. Fascinating and thrilling, it’s always a highly technical competition where many talented riders will line up to challenge themselves on one of the most sought-after stages.
